One wallet, all payments. DIDfarm uses a prepaid wallet for number purchases, renewals, and usage charges. Top up with a credit card, iDEAL, Bancontact, or Klarna — funds are available immediately.

Overview

Every DIDfarm account comes with a EUR wallet. When you buy a number, the monthly cost is deducted from your wallet balance. Monthly renewals are charged automatically on each number's anniversary date. If your balance is too low, you will receive a reminder to top up before numbers are affected.

How the Wallet Works

The wallet is a simple credit balance in EUR. Money flows in via top-ups and out via purchases and renewals:

Atomic transactions: Every wallet operation is processed atomically. If a checkout fails partway through, your wallet is not debited. Refunds for failed provisioning are applied automatically.

Top Up Methods

To add funds to your wallet:

  1. Go to My Numbers → Wallet
  2. Click Top Up
  3. Enter the amount you want to add (minimum EUR 5.00)
  4. Select your payment method
  5. Complete the payment

Funds appear in your wallet as soon as the payment is confirmed. For card payments, this is typically instant. For redirect-based methods (iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna), funds are credited after you are redirected back to DIDfarm.

Auto Top-up

Auto top-up automatically adds funds to your wallet when your balance drops below a threshold you set. This ensures numbers are never suspended due to insufficient balance.

To enable auto top-up, go to My Numbers → Wallet and configure the trigger threshold and top-up amount. A saved card is required for auto top-up.

Recommended: Set your auto top-up threshold to at least one month of total number renewals. This way, your balance always covers the next renewal cycle.

Transaction History

Every wallet transaction is recorded with a timestamp, amount, balance after, and reference. View your full transaction history at My Numbers → Wallet.

Each entry shows:

  • Date & time of the transaction
  • Type — top-up, purchase, renewal, refund, or usage
  • Amount — the EUR amount credited or debited
  • Balance after — your wallet balance after the transaction
  • Reference — linked order, invoice, or number for traceability

Download Invoices

DIDfarm generates a PDF invoice for every purchase. Invoices are available in the Invoices tab of the portal. Click the download button next to any invoice to get the PDF.

Invoices include the DIDfarm B.V. company details, your account details, line items, VAT information, and payment confirmation. For more details, see the Invoices & Billing Cycle guide.

Payment Methods

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. DIDfarm does not store your card details — they are held by Stripe in a PCI-compliant vault.

You can add, remove, or change payment methods at any time from the Wallet section of the portal. Saved cards are used for auto top-up only; manual top-ups let you choose a method each time.

What currency is the wallet in?

The wallet is denominated in EUR. All prices, charges, and invoices are in EUR.

Is there a minimum top-up amount?

Yes, the minimum top-up is EUR 5.00. There is no maximum.

Can I get a refund to my bank account?

Wallet credits from failed provisioning are applied as wallet balance, not refunded to your bank. For account closures or special circumstances, contact support to request a bank refund.

What happens if my balance reaches zero?

Number renewals will fail. You will receive email reminders before any numbers are suspended. Top up your wallet to prevent service interruption. Numbers that remain unpaid after the grace period may be released.

Are top-ups tax deductible?

DIDfarm B.V. is a Netherlands-registered company (VAT NL865150076B01). Business customers within the EU may be able to deduct the VAT. Consult your accountant for specifics. All invoices include the necessary VAT details.
