Why WhatsApp through DIDfarm?

You could go direct to Meta — but here's why teams choose DIDfarm as their WhatsApp BSP.

1
One account for numbers, trunks, SMS, and WhatsApp
No separate vendor for each channel. Buy a number, enable WhatsApp, assign to a trunk, send SMS — all from the same portal and the same wallet. One invoice, one dashboard.
2
We're the BSP — you skip the Meta API complexity
Applying as a Meta BSP takes weeks and requires building your own infrastructure. DIDfarm is already a BSP. Connect your WABA, and we handle the API integration, webhooks, retries, and delivery tracking.
3
SMS + WhatsApp fallback in one API call
Send OTP via WhatsApp with automatic SMS fallback if the user doesn't have WhatsApp. One API call, two channels. No custom routing logic needed on your side.
4
Portal sending for non-technical teams
Your support and ops teams can send templates, manage conversations, and view delivery stats from the DIDfarm portal. No code, no Meta Business Manager required.
5
Template management without Meta Business Manager
Create, preview, and manage WhatsApp templates from the DIDfarm portal. Templates sync with Meta automatically. No need to navigate Meta's complex UI.
6
Unified billing from your wallet
WhatsApp conversations, SMS messages, number fees, and call charges — all billed from the same prepaid wallet. One top-up, one invoice, one spend dashboard. Failed messages are auto-refunded.

Why WhatsApp for your business?

WhatsApp outperforms email and SMS across every metric that matters for business communication.

1
98% open rate vs 20% for email
WhatsApp messages are read almost instantly. No spam folders, no promotions tab. Your message lands directly in the conversation your customer checks 80+ times per day.
2
45% response rate vs 6% for email
Customers actually reply on WhatsApp. The conversational format feels natural and the 24-hour reply window creates urgency without pressure.
3
Dominant in Europe
WhatsApp is the #1 messaging app in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, and most of Europe. Your customers are already there. Meet them where they are.
4
Verified business identity
Your messages show your business name, logo, and a verified badge. Customers trust WhatsApp Business messages more than unknown phone numbers sending SMS.
5
Rich media support
Send images, documents, videos, and interactive buttons alongside text. Attach invoices, product photos, or tracking links directly in the conversation.
6
End-to-end encryption
Every message is encrypted by default. Your customers' data is protected and your business stays GDPR-compliant with built-in privacy controls.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate phone number for WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp requires a phone number that is not already registered on WhatsApp. You can use a DIDfarm DID number or any number that can receive an SMS or voice call for one-time verification.
How long does Meta business verification take?
Typically 2 to 5 business days. You can start sending messages to test numbers immediately while verification is pending. Full production access (higher messaging limits) requires completing verification.
Can I send marketing messages?
Yes, with an approved Marketing template. Marketing messages have the highest per-message rate. Recipients must have opted in to receive marketing messages per WhatsApp policy.
What is the 24-hour service window?
When a customer sends you a message, a 24-hour window opens during which you can reply with free-form text (no template needed) at no charge. After the window closes, you need to use a template to re-initiate contact.
How many messages can I send?
New numbers start with a limit of 250 unique recipients per 24 hours. As your quality rating improves, Meta automatically upgrades you to 1,000, then 10,000, then 100,000 recipients per day. There is no hard cap on total messages.
Is there an API?
Yes. DIDfarm provides a full REST API for sending messages, managing templates, listing conversations, and receiving delivery webhooks. The same API key works for both SMS and WhatsApp endpoints. Read the API docs →
What if a message fails?
The message cost is automatically refunded to your wallet. You can see the error code and reason in your portal or via the API. Common reasons include invalid phone number, unregistered WhatsApp user, or template not approved.
Can I use WhatsApp and SMS together?
Absolutely. Both services are available from the same DIDfarm account, billed from the same wallet. Many businesses use WhatsApp as the primary channel and SMS as a fallback for recipients who don't use WhatsApp.
